Volodymyr Lytvyn states that work of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is being blocked оn the far-fetched pretext, and "such a situation aims at finding another method to terminate the Parliament´s authorities".
On Tuesday´s briefing V.Lytvyn stated that "another scenario of blocking the work of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is being realized, as there are no grounds for the dissolution of the Parliament in accordance with the Resolution of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine".
"Parliamentary lectern is blocked on the far-fetched pretext of considering the issue regarding Yu.Lutsenko, Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine", - stated the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
"Moreover, People´s Deputies seem to be reluctant to adopt a relevant legislative resolution concerning gambling business", - stated V.Lytvyn.
V.Lytvyn appealed to the colleagues-parliament members with a request to understand the necessity of "working together", otherwise "totally different deputies will come". "Apparently, they will study the lessons of present-day passivity", - stressed the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
V.Lytvyn is currently holding negotiations with the leaders of both parliamentary factions, and formal and informal deputy´s groups within the political factions. Thus, conversation with the Party of Regions representatives testified of their wish "to lead the country to the early elections". V.Lytvyn also intends to discuss possible resignation of Yu.Lutsenko with Yulia Tymoshenko, Prime Minister of Ukraine.
